As an intern, you will learn about the inner
workings of a unique eco-tourism organisation, focused on
conservation of the spectacular African wildlife and its habitat. Learn
how a safari business in Africa works, get involved in the
conservation projects we support, and experience the rich
Tanzanian culture.
When you arrive, you will be based either in Arusha, the gateway to the northern safari route, or Dar es Salaam, on Tanzania’s spectacular Indian Ocean coastline. During your time with us, you will be considered part of the Conservation Safaris family. You will need to be reliable and flexible, able to switch from one task or project to another as required. You will help guests with all aspects of their safari booking & planning, liaise with our service providers, help with various aspects of the conservation programs and perform other tasks as they arise. Depending on how long you are with us, and the season in which you visit, you will be able to join us on Safari with guests, participate in various activities including guiding, and help with field work on conservation projects including those on Green & Hawksbill turtles, African Wild Dogs and Pancake tortoises.
You will learn many valuable skills including management of a safari business’s day to day operations, safari guiding, recognising and understanding various African wildlife, how conservation projects work, working in the field on the projects and much more! We believe that working and living in Tanzania will give you a unique perspective on the challenges of conservation in a developing country. Working within an organisation with a strong conservation focus, you will have an experience of a lifetime and take home not only your new skills but a new appreciation for Africa and its animals.
This program is coming soon. In the meantime contact us to discuss the possibilities. |
